#LFW Review: Duro Olowu Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear Perfection

Nigerian-born and London-based designer Duro Olowu is no stranger to bold prints and exhilarating patchwork. A favorite worn by many notable women, including First Lady Michelle Obama, Olowu presents his Fall 2014 Ready-To-Wear collection today during London Fashion Week, and schooled us all in his unmatched ability to make vibrant contrasts more than appealing to the eye.

Olowu’s collection is consistent with the essence of the brand; mixing nostalgic silhouettes with contemporary patterns that are visually electrifying. The collection featured regal coats and stately capes, yet found a graceful medium between elegant and quirky, very charming Mr. Olowu. I love it.
